Upon taking Aphroditian aspects to myself, the femininity that I am blessed with and the pinkness I surround myself with blooms in a way that is beautiful but also twisted and jagged. A pink rose blooms with serrated edged petals. As I march on my fuschia-coloured warpath, the sword that I wield is a double-edged one; hurting not only others but myself too. In pursuit of love, I lose myself in a way that is to my own detriment (this can be heard in the 2nd verse of the song).
However much damage I do to myself and others, there is nothing that can compare to a lover's affection, a lover's kiss, a lover's touch. It makes it all so very worth it.💗

When recording the vocals for the chorus (which can be heard here), I wanted the listener to really feel that sweetness that love can feel like and that yearning for love that is nothing but natural.

You have to love me. It’s your raison d’être.

Aphrodite the Greek Goddess has a duality to her that you will come to know if you read into her. Sweet and caring but also ruthless and obsessive when it comes to people loving her...or not loving her.
